That’s me with Daisy my first Newfoundland who set me on the path of working with the breed in 1999, since then all my Newfies have completed many tests in all the disciplines as well as doing demonstrations in both water and in their carts. They have always proved to me just how wonderful and versatile our breed is, after all Willow completed the highest level in draught – a level 4 on one Saturday, followed by being awarded a first place at Crufts the next. She is also one of the first Draught Champions to be recognised. My true love has always been the working side of our breed, running my own pet dog training club has meant the skills and knowledge I have learnt there can also be shared with everyone in this club.
