After years of waiting I finally got my first Newfoundland Mouse in 2012, he was very soon followed by his brother Solo in 2013, I love my boys to bits and I’m proud to be owned by them! Both boys have done well in the show ring both here and in Ireland but we all prefer taking part in the working side. My boys have done well in all the working disciplines so far and are both now in training for Level 4 Draught and Level 5 Obedience, Solo has also gained distinction titles in both Water and Nose Work. We have been very fortunate to have had a lot of help along the way, with people imparting their years of invaluable knowledge and experience. Aside from taking part in tests, I also thoroughly enjoy the social side of attending all the events and have made some great friends along the way. I’ve been fortunate enough to start doing some judging and find it just as rewarding watching everyone’s dogs working and having fun. I’m hoping that by being a committee member that I can help in any way I can to promote this wonderful breed.
